Last night I watched my husband play live in front of people for the very first time with his new band, Lucille. He has only been learning the bass for a few months and he has already come so far. I am so getting a t-shirt made up saying ‘Bass Players Do It Better’. Mum would love that!
I could spend a whole day in a stationery store, a haberdasher's or a bookshop. I think Doc Martens are the coolest footware on the planet. When I grow up, I want to be a cross between Martha Stewart and Sydney Bristow.
I am going to be back soon with more regular posting but for now I am having a little break. I might even give the blog a bit of a spring clean - the theme is nice and all but I am not 100% happy.

The clocks went back on Sunday morning which is just another reason why I love Autumn. I bought a pumpkin from a local nursery near my office on Friday and tonight will be making some soup. I have carved it ready for All Hallows Eve.
