In a previous life, I used to be a Customer Service Manager and one of my employees was a young scally called Jim.  He is a drummer and along with his twin bro, Mike and a couple of other chaps, they are doing pretty well with their band Baddies. They are on the MTV2 Myspace Chart hot list and they need votes to get the video for their song Battleships into the Top 10 which will mean twice daily showings = muchos exposure. Ok so *maybe* I first found out who this guy was watching Poo Tree Hill and *maybe* I thought the title song was pretty cool and then *maybe* I decided to buy his latest album after hearing this song in a much later episode of One Poo Hill but now that I have heard the album, I am relieved to hear that his talents go beyond bakcing music for One Tree Poo*.

I love the bluesy quality of his voice and whilst the music may stray into Maroon 5 territory, I think he seems a bit cool than that. Feel free to disagree. I may even try to get to see him when his tour comes to London or Manchester in November. If I can persuade ricardo, that is.
