I am studying a Literature degree and I probably spend a couple of hours a week max unless I have an essay due and then it increases. My style of study has always been 90% inspiration and 10% perspiration which I think is not the right ratio. It is working for me (although my marks are not as good as they could be if I just studied a little more!).
