Taking a break

I am going to be back soon with more regular posting but for now I am having a little break. I might even give the blog a bit of a spring clean - the theme is nice and all but I am not 100% happy.
Pumpkin patch

The clocks went back on Sunday morning which is just another reason why I love Autumn. I bought a pumpkin from a local nursery near my office on Friday and tonight will be making some soup. I have carved it ready for All Hallows Eve.
Tricky treats

This weekend I will be preparing for Halloween. I will be making a Jack o Lantern and then using the pumpkin innards for either a Pumpkin Pie, pumpkin soup or both. I will also put up some decorations and dig out my witches hat and broom. Autumn is fast becoming my favourite season. It means crisp mornings, pretty leaves, skirts with boots and yummy food.
